Denver broke its record high for the date on Friday and unseasonably warm weather in the state is expected to last through the weekend.
The record high for the date is now 82 degrees, breaking a record 80 degrees set in 2011, the National Weather Service announced.
The average high in late October is in the mid-to-low 60s.
Colorado Springs tied its record high for the date at 78 degrees and Pueblo set a new record high of at least 84 degrees, the service said.
Forecasters are calling for a high of 84 degrees in Denver on Saturday and 76 degrees on Sunday.
