One person was transported to a local hospital after a sports utility vehicle careened into Cherry Creek Friday morning.
The crash happened at Speer Boulvard and Colfax Avenue around 8 a.m.
Witnesses said the SUV blew a tire, veered across several lanes of traffic and plunged into Cherry Creek.
Denver police said the victim’s injuries were not immediately known.
