A look at the winners and losers from NFL Week 8.
THREE UP
1. Ravens: Ranked 30th in rushing last year (83.0 yards per game) with Ray Rice. Rank seventh this year (131.4 YPG) with Justin Forsett.
2. Jaguars: Yes, they have a quarterback. He’s former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson, who rushed for 127 yards and a TD in beating Browns for first win.
3. Rams: John Fassel, Jim’s kid, devised two splendid special-teams plays to shock the Seahawks.
THREE DOWN
1. Seahawks: Lost two in a row. Only committed two turnovers all year, but vaunted defense has only forced five takeaways.
2. Chargers: Lost two in a row. With Ryan Mathews and Donald Brown out, rushing attack ranks 32nd with 3.1 yards per attempt.
3. Saints: Coming off a bye, had Lions down 23-10 with four minutes remaining — and blew it. Drew Brees has thrown five interceptions in past three games combined.
