Are high school sports necessary? Definitely. It definitely teaches you a lot about teamwork and kind of how to work with others, and it holds you accountable. You have to know the guy next to you will do his job and you do your job. You get to know your mistakes and learn from them. I also like the competition. The world is a pretty competitive place.
