Re: “Skepticism about claim of ballot thieves in Colorado,” Oct. 19 letters to the editor.
I beg to differ with those who think ballot thieves are a myth. Ballot harvesters are out there. I live in a townhouse complex in Aurora where we have a neighborhood watch. One of our watchers saw a woman gathering up ballots from the trashcan in our mail kiosks. The watcher sent out e-mails to all residents on her list and put a sign up in the mail kiosk, asking residents to discard their ballots in the privacy of their own townhome units if they have decided not to mail them in.
Not only is ballot harvesting an example of voter fraud, but the basis of identity theft as well. I’ll be glad when this election is over. Folks are going nuts!
