Bread on arrival

Golden’s Grateful Bread, a wholesale boulangerie that provides bread to top local restaurants and hotels, is opening its doors to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1. Recognized for using only natural, organic and local ingredients, the store has focaccia, ciabatta, croissants, baguettes, hoagie rolls, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, brioche and more. The benefit of the book

The Book Stack, a volunteer-run book store on the University of Denver campus, is having a half-price sale 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Peruse 35,000 used, new and rare books in more than 90 categories. All proceeds support Denver University Libraries through the University of Library Association. Support artisans around the world

Jewelry, baskets, scarves, home décor, ceramics and food items are included in the two-day SERRV Sale at Littleton United Methodist Church Nov. 1-2.
