The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has identified a teenage girl who died on Thursday, .
Kurtatsha Sykes, 16, was hit on Monday as she attempted to cross East Alameda Avenue near South Peoria Street.
Police found that Sykes was trying to cross the street with her brother without a pedestrian walk signal while oncoming traffic was moving with a green light.
The driver stopped and was not charged.
