DISH NetworksDish Network Corp., which is still said that the number of pay-TV subscribers slumped by about 12,000 in the past three months to about 14.041 million. Its broadband subscribers, however, grew by 28,000, bringing its total subscribers to 553,000.

The Englewood satellite-TV company didn’t say if the pay-TV subscriber decline was due to the loss of Turner channels, such as Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN, CNN en Español, HLN, truTV and Turner Classic Movies. Dish subscribers lost those channels on Oct. 20, when the two companies failed to agree on a renewed distribution contract. But in its , Dish mentioned potential new subscribers and its pay-TV churn rate, “may be negatively impacted” if the dispute continues.

For the third quarter, which ended Sept. 30, Dish’s revenues grew 4.8 percent to $3.68 billion, compared to $3.51 billion a year earlier. Net income totaled $146 million, about half the $315 million reported a year earlier.
