A Denver Public Works dump truck knocked down several power lines on Thursday morning, shutting off power to 95 homes, officials said.
The truck driver was lowering his bed when it snagged the lines near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Milwaukee Street about 10:40 a.m., according to a city spokeswoman.
Officials estimate power will be restored in eight to 12 hours.
No one was injured in the incident.
