A 35-year-old climber survived a 20 feet fall from Dinosaur Rock in Boulder County on Saturday.

Jeff Hamlin was “descending a climb when he ran out of rope and fell approximately 20 feet,” according to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office release.

Sheriff’s Office, Rocky Mountain Rescue Group and other emergency personnel were dispatched to Dinosaur rock at 4:30 p.m.

They evacuated Hamlin from the trail and he was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Hamlin’s injures did not appear to be life threatening, officials said.
