Cherokee Trail senior Izaiah Lottie announced on Twitter Monday that he has given his verbal commitment to play football at New Mexico State.

The 6-foot, 185 pound tailback and linebacker rushed for 1,135 yards and 12 TDs for the Cougars this season.

“Proud to say that I have verbally committed to play football at New Mexico State next year,” Lottie tweeted.
