1 Broken angels. Police were called to a woman’s home in the 13600 block of East 13th Place because someone kicked in her backdoor and rummaged through her home Oct. 24. Nothing was missing, but several ceramic angels on a nearby shelf had fallen over and snapped their wings off.
2 Feeding frenzy. Security guards at the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion at 12505 E. 16th Ave. called police because a woman piled up a plate of hamburgers and chicken wings and tried to leave the hospital cafeteria Oct. 25. She told police she thought the food was free.
3 Ex accusations. A man went out to his car in the 1800 block of South Dunkirk Street and noticed that his windshield was smashed and one of his tires was slashed Oct. 30. The victim told police that he suspected his ex-wife because she had done it before.
4 Gone in the night. A man who lives in the 19700 block of East Amherst Drive called police Oct. 15 because someone broke the driver’s side window out of his car and stole his stereo while he was asleep. There are no suspects.
5 Fence jumpers. A woman called police to report that someone jumped the fence into her backyard in the 12200 block of East 14th Avenue and then kicked out a bunch lattices on her gazebo Oct. 21. There are no suspects.
6 Mysterious mess. Unknown suspects rooted through a man’s car while it was parked in front of his home in the 2000 block of South Ivory Way Oct. 20. The victim said things were out of place but nothing was taken, and he wasn’t sure how they got into the car at all.
