Lewis-Palmer finished the 2014 volleyball season ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings, which were released Tuesday.

The , beating Ponderosa 25-22, 15-22, 25-22, 25-12 on Saturday at the Denver Coliseum. It was their second straight state title.

With the win, Lewis-Palmer finished the season a dominant 29-0, and have lost just five sets all year.

“I think it’s a major accomplishment to go undefeated in 4A and with as many 5A teams that we played,” Rangers coach Susan Odenbaugh told the Post after winning the state title.
