Getting your player ready...
BOULDER — Colorado guard Dominique Collier is hoping to make his anticipated college debut Saturday.
The freshman has been sidelined for about a month with a left ankle injury, and also sat the Buffaloes’ first two games for disciplinary reasons. He and the Buffs are hoping that Collier will play Saturday when CU (2-0) takes on Wyoming (2-0) at Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.
“I’m trying to play Saturday,” Collier said Wednesday. “I’m anxious to get out there and start playing.”
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder from Denver East has been limited in practice the past couple of weeks, but participated fully on Wednesday for the first time since injuring his ankle last month.
