Say what you will about the songwriting on Foo Fighters’ new album, “Sonic Highways,” but Dave Grohl and company are not lacking in ambition. Similarly, the Foos’ 2015 North American tour will tackle stadiums and amphitheaters on its summer run, including an Aug. 17 concert at Fiddler’s Green. Tickets for the show, with Royal Blood, are on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 5. (42.50-$79.50, )

Can Bette Midler fill the Pepsi Center? Certainly, the 68-year-old stage and screen legend hasn’t played Denver in a while, so fans will likely jump at the chance to see the Divine Miss M in person. But with a capacity of up to 18,000 for music shows, is The Can too big for this proto-Lady Gaga? Only time — and ticket sales — will tell. Passes for Midler’s May 20 show promoting her new album “It’s the Girls!” are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 24. ($46-$211, )

The Colorado Music Hall of Fame’s induction concert will feature performances from original members of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Poco, Firefall and others — which makes sense, since the acts are among those joining the Hall this year. Tickets for the Jan. 9 show at the Paramount are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21. ($39-$99, )

Supporting his 10th album, “Moonshine in the Trunk,” pop-country star Brad Paisley will play Colorado Springs’ Broadmoor World Arena on March 5, with opening sets from Parmalee and the Swon Brothers. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21. ($49.50-$75, TicketsWest)

Beneath the laser-calibrated shock tactics, Marilyn Manson is a solid, surprisingly melodic hard-rock band. But now that the children of that act have flooded the market, will Manson still command the same audience? We’ll see when Manson plays the Fillmore Auditorium on Feb. 11, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21. ($49.50-$55, )

Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist empire has a new ostensible flagship, the “@midnight” comedy game show, and Hardwick a new tour. Tickets for his Jan. 24 “Funcomfortable” show at the Paramount Theatre are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21. ($35, )
