The chances of the Colorado Buffaloes beating the No. 2 Oregon Ducks and snapping their five-game winning streak on there own turf Saturday was small. Very small.
The chances of Oregon’s Heisman-favored quarterback, Marcus Mariota, going pro next year? Quite large.
But after , a student reporter from a local all-girls Catholic school wanted to know just how large.
So she asked coach Mark Helfrich. After all, Mariota is “the talk around school.”
“There’s three things that go on at O’Hara Catholic — or four — OK?” the young reporter told Helfrich. “There’s Jesus, there’s girls and there’s Marcus Mariota.”
