A Fort Collins man was arrested Friday on a charge of second-degree assault for allegedly attacking a female bicyclist.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said Jose Angel Alderete-Gomez, 27, may be responsible for an Oct. 8 incident on a woman who was riding her bicycle just north of Fort Collins.
The office said its investigators are working with Fort Collins Police services investigators concerning incidents that occurred within the city limits of Fort Collins related to similar assaults in the months of September, October, and November.
Fort Collins Police Services is conducting further investigation and forensic analysis on the remaining cases.
