1 Purse stolen. On Nov. 22, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy contacted a woman who works at Highlands Ranch HD Eye Care,8677 S Quebec St., and had her purse stolen while she was talking with a woman and her daughter. The purse did not contain any cash or credit cards, but did have her license and car keys.

2 School burglary. On Nov. 21, a deputy responded to STEM School and Academy,8773 Ridgeline Blvd., where someone had stolen three cameras and $40 in cash from a desk in a classroom.

3 Construction equipment stolen. On Nov. 21, a deputy was dispatched to a construction site near 14111 Double Dutch Circlein Parker where $5,000 in construction equipment was stolen from the site. The manager said he doesn’t know anyone who is mad at him.

4 Door mischief. On Nov. 20, a deputy was dispatched to Hilton Garden Inn,9290 Meridian Blvd., where two men were witnessed altering the emergency door in a stairwell so it would stay open. The manager stopped them before they stole anything.

5 Rocked out. On Nov. 24, a deputy was dispatched to Sand Creek Elementary School,8898 Maplewood Drive, where someone had broken two windows on a mobile with rocks. The damage was estimated to cost $800 to fix.

6 Scratched up. On Nov. 25, a deputy responded to the 9700 block of Mulberry Street in Highlands Ranch where a man found a long scratch on his vehicle from the right rear door to the taillight. He was unsure of who caused it and thought it would cost $500 to fix.
