Re: “Colorado health exchange site experiences enrollment speed bumps,” Dec. 1 news story.

The headline screams “glitches” and readers nod their heads knowingly about the disastrous Affordable Care Act and move on to other news stories.

Those few people who read farther discover that there have been 9,700 successful sign-ups in Colorado so far this fall, and some 88 people who had difficulties signing up, which comes out to just 0.9 percent of the people who applied.

Then you read that health care guides are reaching out to those 88 to help them complete the sign-up process. But the lingering impression from the headline is that the exchange is a mess, and thus the media continues to create a negative impression of Obamacare.
