
Re: “Don’t blame the postal clerk,” Nov. 28 guest commentary.
Dan Danbom’s commentary in support of the U.S. Postal Service is right on. The Postal Service performs a reliable service at a reasonable price while dealing with a wide variety of customer expectations, be they reasonable or not. The message being, if you do your part, the USPS will take it from there and do its part to deliver your mail or package to its (properly labeled) destination. The people behind the counter, in the sorting rooms and out on deliveries deserve our respect and appreciation for what they do for us.
Thank you, Mr. Danbom, for reminding us about the good work the USPS does under the pressure of this season.
