Police were dispatched to the apartment complex in the 200 block of University Drive about 7 a.m. after receiving reports of a home invasion.

One of the victim’s told police four men “broke into his apartment and stole various items that include his and his roommate’s cell phones,” police said.

“Two of the suspects wore masks the other two did not,” according to police. “One of the suspects was armed with a black semi-auto pistol.”

The apartment’s occupants were eventually able to free themselves.
