1 Road rage reported. On Nov. 25, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were called by a man threatened as he was driving near the intersection of C-470 and U.S. 285. The man said he was cut off by a vehicle and, when he honked his horn, the vehicle pulled alongside and the driver pulled out a knife and threatened the man. The man phoned police as he followed the driver into Denver.
2 Woman finds vulgarity spraypainted on garage door. A woman called deputies on Nov. 28 after she noticed some graffiti spray-painted on her garage door in the 12500 block of West Bowles Place in the Littleton area. The graffiti was a derogatory word about the woman. She said she had broken up with a boyfriend 10 months earlier and the relationship since was not always amicable.
3 Man receives threatening note on car. On Nov. 25, a man called deputies after he found a threatening note on his car in the 7400 block of South Alkire Street, Ken-Caryl. The note stated neighbors would call police if the man didn’t shut off his air conditioner and would tell them that he was growing marijuana. The man said he did not grow marijuana.
4 Odd calls received. A man called deputies after he received strange calls in the early-morning hours of Nov. 27 at his home in the 7000 block of South Garrison Street in the Littleton area
. The man said he got a call from a blocked number at 2:30 a.m. from a man claiming to be with Jefferson County law enforcement and asking for “bombing plans” for an apartment in Lakewood. The man had been receiving similar calls recently.
