The Golden-based video-production company kicked off its quest to donate its time and facilities this week. Oswego said it plans to create a video each quarter as part of its.

“We hope that by providing groups like this with a powerful video asset, their message will spread, awareness of their cause will increase and they will be able to generate additional financial support,” the company said.

The 12-person company has been around for quite a while. Founded by husband and wife team Bob Mizke and Bert Gurule in 1988, Oswego moved into a new facility last year in the old Golden Transcript Building. The couple met while working at KUSA and KMGH. Gurule was a news reporter and anchor while Mizke worked the camera.

To be eligible, the organization must be in Colorado. The award includes brainstorming on a concept, scripting, filming and post production work. Applications are being accepted until March 9, 2015 at .
