
Modest Mouse is back. After an eight-year break, Modest Mouse will release its sixth studio album, “Strangers to Ourselves,” on March 3. Today, the band released its first track from the album, “Lampshades on Fire.”
The track will make fans nostalgic for “Lonesome Crowded West.” A funky bass and guitars run through the new Modest Mouse track as Isaac Brock’s rhythm-heavy vocals “bup, bup, bup” on the verse.
