An Adams County jury found a man guilty of stabbing another to death outside an East Colfax Avenue motel last year, and the judge wasted no time in sentencing him to life in prison.
Adams District Court Judge Katherine Rose Delgado on Friday sentenced Jeffrey Alan Banworth, 52, to life without parole , shortly after the jury returned a guilty verdict.
Banworth stabbed Siefford, 32, multiple times outside the Pace Setter Motel at 14291 E. Colfax Avenue on Dec. 20, 2013 after the two argued.
