A pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Evans Avenue and Dahlia Street Wednesday morning has been taken to a hospital with serious bodily injury, Denver police tweeted.
The accident at about 5:50 a.m., was not a hit and run, police said.
Eastbound Evans was closed shortly after the accident.
Video from the scene showed police vehicles surrounding a trash truck, according to 7NEWS.
