The Colorado Department of Transportation said Thursday it had completed work on a bridge project at westbound Interstate 70 and West 32nd Avenue.
Emergency rehabilitation started on Dec. 7, with crews working a 24-hour schedule through Thursday.
CDOT said it paused work between Dec. 12 and 14 to accommodate area shopping and activities along with mountain travel.
This bridge was originally part of a larger $1.9 million bridge rehab project that was slated to begin in spring of 2015. CDOT said the completed project will ultimately extend the life of the structure for 10-15 years.
In November, CDOT completed a similar project on the eastbound side.
