Southbound Colorado Boulevard was closed to traffic in north Denver late Thursday afternoon after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, police said on their Twitter feed.
The DPD report said the incident, which occurred at East 29th Avenue, was originally considered a hit-and-run, however the vehicle returned to the scene.
Police said the extent of the injuries to the pedestrian was unknown.
