1 The Grinch who stole Christmas decorations. Several people who live in the 100 block of North Biloxi Way called police Dec. 9 because someone was going through the neighborhood stealing Christmas decorations from yards. One household lost an inflatable train with Disney characters riding it, a 7-foot-tall snowman and a light-up polar bear.

2 Security breech. A woman who works at the Aurora Mental Health center was driving a client to his home in the 16300 block of East 14th Avenue on Dec. 5. She got out of her car to help the man, and someone came by and stole her briefcase. She told police the case had client records inside.

3 Robbed of the milk. Someone stole the Royal Crest milk box from the front porch of a woman who lives in the 23500 block of East Platte Drive. The victim said the box was full when it was taken Dec. 5.

4 Crashing noises. Police responded to a home in the 19600 block of East Greenwood Drive because a woman heard a loud crash behind the home Dec. 10. Someone had thrown a rock through her basement window.

5 Vacated home. Police investigated a burglary in the 15800 block of East 18th Place after the homeowner noticed someone tore the blinds off the front window Dec. 11. Nothing was missing because the victim had been actively moving out of the house.

6 Hit and run. A man called police after he saw that someone hit his car while it was parked in front of his home in the 1300 block of North Moline Street Dec. 8. The passenger mirror was broken and the fender was dented.
