The Westminster City Council named three finalists for city manager during its meeting Monday night.
The finalists are: former West Jordan, Utah, City Manager Richard Davis; Nancy Newton, deputy county administrator of Clackamas County, Ore.; and Westminster Parks, Recreation and Libraries director Don Tripp.
The candidates will return for a final assessment process with council and city staff for three days starting Jan. 4. The process will include a reception, tours of city facilities and operations and interviews with employees, council members and community leaders.
Current City Manager Brent McFall, who assumed his post in 2001, will retire on Jan. 25.
