Jan. 25: Racing Underground presents the fifth annual race offering a 5K with a mostly-flat course at 10 a.m. or a 10K with a few rolling hills at 10:08 a.m. Post-race festivities include refreshments with hot chocolate, prize drawings and awards. $35-$40; no race-day registration. Jan. 18: Peedy the Prairie Dog is the mascot for this series of races starting in Louisville. 7-8 a.m. race-day registration and packet pickup, 7:30-11:30 a.m. Indoor Expo, 8 a.m. half-marathon start, 8:30 a.m. 10K start. An awards ceremony follows and an After Party is at Gravity Brewing Company (1150 Pine St., Unit B).
