Police in Aurora are investigating that left a woman critically wounded.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 500 block of Galena Street about 6 p.m. They found the woman, who has not been identified, suffering from a single gunshot wound.
“Detectives from the major crimes/homicide unit and crime-scene investigators have taken over the investigation and are currently working leads to identify a suspect,” police said.
