Congrats to Denver-area resident and former world’s top-ranked golfer David Duval for being named Tuesday as an analyst for Golf Channel’s broadcast team.

Duval, 43, will serve as a studio host for selected PGA Tour and other golf events.

A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Duval joined the PGA Tour in 1995 and rose to No. 1 in the official world ranking in 1999. He won 13 PGA Tour events, including one major championship: the 2001 British Open.

“David no only brings an enormous amount of credibility as one of the best golfers of his generation, but (offers) a knowledgeable and candid voice that our viewers will enjoy and can depend on.”
