WARNING “GAME OF THRONES” SEASON 4 SPOILERS AHEAD
Brace yourselves, IMAX is coming.
. From Jan. 23-29, 150 IMAX theaters across the country will show the final two episodes of season 4 along with an exclusive trailer for season 5, which is set to premiere later this year. “Game of Thrones” will be the first TV show to be shown on IMAX.
The final two episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 4 showcase the battle at Castle Black between the Wildling horde and the Nightap Watch, and the Emmy-nominated season finale “The Children” which resolves many of the season’s storylines, including Tyrion’s fate after being sentenced to death for the murder of King Joffrey.
An IMAX spokesperson said that tickets for the event will be available on IMAX.com in the coming days.
For those who just can’t get enough of life (and death) in Westeros. HBO has announced that a special titled “Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life” will air Feb. 8.
