The internet gives sports fans many meaningful data visualizations. This is not one of them.
Here is a map of tweets tweeted today about the NFL’s remaining playoff teams, organized per team. While wholly unscientific, we took a little bit of care to make sure that Broncos tweets were more about the Denver Broncos than the Indianapolis Colts. Same for every other team. Only tweets that we could find geographic information for are included.
We weren’t able to convert the timezone of the tweets before deadline, so the time you see on the map is accurate for Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is seven hours ahead of the time here in Denver.
