Eaglecrest junior Alexa Romero has verbally committed to play softball at Syracuse University, Eaglecrest announced Friday via Twitter.
Romero, who plays first base and pitcher, hit .358 with five doubles and three home runs, and had a 7-6 record with a 3.36 ERA and 85 strikeouts to help the Raptors to a 15-9 record. Romero was a first team Centennial League selection.
