Scattered snow showers Sunday evening and frigid overnight temperatures could lead to a wet commute Monday for Denver drivers, officials said.

Although most of the snow is expected to stop around midnight, Scott Entrekin with the National Weather Service said that overnight temperatures could dip to 15 degrees, causing ice “especially on bridges and overpasses.”

Monday should see temperatures in the 30s with a slight chance of snow, he said.

Although snow is predicted for Tuesday, Entrekin said Denver should dry out with a warm up starting Wednesday and continuing into Friday.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 40s with no snow for the remainder of the week.
