The local nominees for McDonald’s annual All-American boys and girls basketball games are out.
Nominees must be seniors.
Local boys: Brian Carey, Denver East; Keith Coleman, Highlands Ranch; Austin Conway, Overland; Jake Holtzmann, Chaparral; Michael Sparks, Abraham Lincoln; Ryley Stewart, Highlands Ranch; and Patrick Sullivan, Highlands Ranch. Local girls: Kendall Smith, Rock Canyon.
The games will be played on April 1 at Chicago’s United Center. The final teams of 24 boys and 24 girls will be announced during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on Jan. 28.
