1 Man can’t find his pot. A group of women called Denver police on Dec. 31 after they were robbed by a man in the 6200 block of East 14th Avenue. The women said they had procured a ride from the suspect at a bar in Aurora. The man became upset when he could not find an envelope that contained marijuana. He began searching the women’s purses and simulated that he had a weapon. He later fled the scene.

2 Woman gets bad eyebrow job, refuses to pay. On Jan. 1, Denver police responded to a theft of services at Fantastic Sam’s, 3333 S. Tamarac Drive, that occurred the day before. The officer learned that the suspect was dissatisfied with an eyebrow job and left without paying. The officer contacted the suspect and told her a complaint had been filed. The woman went back and paid the $11.95 she owed.

3 Man robbed with taser. A man flagged down Denver police Jan. 5 after he was robbed in the 1500 block of Logan Street. The victim said a man approached and used a taser on his face, causing him to fall to the ground, and then took his wallet. The victim refused medical attention or to write a statement, not believing police would find the suspect.

4 Suspect gets clever with power. A landlord called Denver police Jan. 6 after he noticed one of his tenants getting power from a neighbor in the 200 block of South Canosa Court. The landlord said one of his tenants had his power shut off, but noticed a long green extension cord running from a neighbor’s exterior outlet into the living room of the suspect.
