Troy Calhoun has signed a new five-year contract that will keep him at Air Force through the 2019 season.

The new deal increases the football coach’s annual salary by $25,000 over his previous deal to $850,000 each year.

Calhoun had signed his most recent contract, also a five-year deal, before the 2013 season. This new deal, which replaces the old one after just two of its five years, was made official just nine days before athletic director Hans Mueh will work his final day before retiring.
