Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila will be a featured speaker Saturday at what promoters are calling the largest March for Life in Colorado’s history.
Following an 11:30 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a rally will be held on the west side of the State Capitol at 1 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., there will be a march around Civic Center park.
Denver police have been asked to close Broadway, Lincoln, and Colfax Avenue to traffic when the march begins, organizers say.
In addition to the archbishop, speakers will include Lynn Grandon of Respect Life and Pastor Bill Gore, president of Colorado Right to Life.
