Two suspects were arrested, with one wounded by police Thursday following an armed robbery and high speed chase in Aurora.
According to Aurora police, the robbery took place at a Fast-N-Friendly Food Mart at 138 North Del Mar Circle around 10 p.m. Police gave chase, with shots fired. Initial indications from police were that the unidentified suspect was the only person struck; that person was taken to a hospital for treatment while the second suspect was arrested.
The incident came to an end at East 6th Avenue and Tower Road, police said.
