Authorities in Weld County are responding to a collision between a train and trash truck in Hudson on Thursday morning.

The crash happened about 7:45 a.m. near Colorado 52 at a railroad crossing east of Interstate 76, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries — a small cut — in the crash, according to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Colorado 52 has been closed, the department of transportation said. Officials could not immediately say when the road would reopen.
