Just because Gary Kubiak is the clear frontrunner to become the Broncos’ next head coach doesn’t mean the team will stop becoming thorough in its search.

The Broncos will interview former Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone on Saturday. Marrone helped rebuild the Bills’ defense into one of the league’s best during his two years there in 2013-14. Even with the team unable to find a top tier quarterback, the Bills improved from 6-10 in 2013 wot 9-7 this season.

Marrone would bring the type of toughness and discipline that was largely missing during the John Fox era. Marrone resigned from the Bills on Dec. 31, 2014 after a change in the team’s ownership.

The Broncos interviewed in-house offensive coordinator Adam Gase on Thursday and will interview Cincinnati Bengals defensive backs coach Vance Joseph today. Kubiak will interview Sunday.
