The Park People’s Denver Dig Trees
Deadline Feb. 15: The 25th annual program to “enhance Denver’s urban tree canopy” offers free and reduced trees including Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry, State Street Maple, Hot Wings Tatarian Maple, Hardy Rubber Tree, Imperial Honeylocust, American Hophornbeam, Kentucky Coffee Tree, Glenleven Littleleaf Linden, more. The Park People evaluated several neighborhoods, and based on their tree coverage, residents may purchase reduced cost ($10 and $35, depending on what neighborhood) or free (for those who qualify).
