Two men attempted to force a woman to leave an intersection near the University of Denver campus with them Saturday afternoon, the department of campus safety warns.
“We have received reports of two suspicious males near the DU campus who may be threatening the DU community,” the department said in an automated alert sent to students and faculty around 2:30 p.m.
According to the report, the men approached the woman at the intersection of East Evans Avenue and South High Street. She fled the scene and described one of the men to a campus safety officer.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s with blonde hair, wearing black jeans and a black shirt with tatoos covering one arm. There is no description of the second suspect.
Officers searched the area and were unable to locate either man, according to the report.
