Warm temperatures forecasted for Monday could help melt away the remnants of a snowstorm that dropped several inches across the Denver area overnight Saturday.

Morning commuters should be prepared for icy and snow-covered roads early Monday left over from the weekend storm. Some motorists were having difficulty navigating the city’s still-buried intersections.

The National Weather Service in Boulder say temperatures are expected to top out at about 50 degrees on Monday with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday’s high is expected to be 61 degrees.
