It’s still unclear if he’ll return to the gridiron next season, but we know now that Peyton Manning return to Studio 8H for the 40th Anniversary Special of “Saturday Night Live,” on Feb. 15.
As by NBC the Broncos quarterback will join a long list of celebrities and athletes — including Derek Jeter (had to get that in there) — set to appear on SNL’s three-hour special.
The so-far announced guest list, in addition to Manning and Jeter: Eddie Murphy, Paul McCartney, Jack Nicholson, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Paul Simon, Taylor Swift, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Garrett Morris, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Betty White, Emma Stone, Jimmy Fallon, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Melissa McCarthy, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Molly Shannon, Mike Meyers and others.
While we await his appearance, we can only hope another one of these skits is in his future:
