Jay Hockaday, a linebacker at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tenn., tweeted Tuesday morning that he has decommitted from Colorado and will sign with Vanderbilt.

Hockaday evidently received a late offer from Vanderbilt, his hometown school.

One day before national signing day, the Hockaday decommitment leaves Colorado and Buffs coach Mike MacIntyre with 17 commitments including one linebacker: N.J. Falo of Sacramento, Calif.

MacIntyre grew up in Nashville and was a defensive back at Vanderbilt for his father before completing his playing career at Georgia Tech,
