1 Stranded trying to dine and dash. Three teenagers were ticketed for trying to run out on their dinner bill at Pho Nam Vietnamese Noodle House and Grill, 13736 E. Quincy Ave. The boys were busted because they locked themselves out of their car around the corner, and someone called police because they thought they were trying to steal the car Jan. 16.

2 Leftover decorations. Police were called to the 2900 block of South Yampa Way because a woman watched a man steal Christmas lights and candy cane decorations from the community gazebo Jan. 17. The woman said she and her friends decorated the gazebo and the items are theirs.

3 Porch light security. A woman fell asleep on her sofa Jan. 19 and woke up when she heard a noise at her backdoor in the 19200 block of East Arizona Place. She saw a man trying to break in. He ran off and over the fence when she turned on the porch light.

4 BOLO for Jack in the Box. A car with a Jack in the Box ornament on the radio antenna was stolen after its owner left it running outside her home in the 900 block of South Ivory Circle Jan. 15

5 Picked from the lineup. An employee of the EZ Pawn at 9980 E. Colfax Ave. called police Jan. 16 because her bike was stolen. A bunch of employees locked their bikes together with one chain before work. Someone came by and cut the lock, but only the victim’s bike was taken.

6 Swiped purse. Police responded to Noonan’s Tavern, 13521 E. Iliff Ave., because a woman’s purse was taken while she was at the bar Jan. 17. She suspected a group of men who had already left the restaurant.
